Updates

Hey guys, back again.  We have lots of photos for you.  We changed out some windows to let more light in the back of the house and take advantage of the view.

And as you can see in the above photo we changed out the back door, and added a door in our bedroom for the deck we are going to put across the back next year.

Hubby has also done all the insulation.  We put R19 on the exterior walls and R12 on the interior walls, just for sound deadening, and so you don't have that hollow sound when you walk around.

That's it for now, we'll be back with more photos.  Thanks for looking.

Progress!

Hi all, we're back.  Lots of updates and photos.  Hubby and D installed the plumbing.

They managed to get all the drainage pipes run in the basement, and these will be covered with a drop ceiling this winter.  They also managed to build and install the 32 foot beam for the main living area.

We also had our firewood delivered for the winter.

I will post more photos tomorrow, we have done a lot of work on the inside.  Till tomorrow.

Power!

Hi all!  Sorry it's been a while since I've posted.  We've been a little busy.  But, I have more photos, we've started the wiring.

I know it's hard to see, but we've wired both bedrooms and the bathroom.  We still have the main living/dining/kitchen to do.

We did get all the pieces for our bathroom though, we decided to go with a clawfoot tub, easier to clean, no fiberglass surround to mess with.

We decided to do something different with our vanity and sink

We took an antique dresser and installed a vessel sink with a pump faucet.

Not much else for right now, I went and took some outside shots to play with my new camera, hopefully they will be a little clearer.

Well till next time folks.  See ya later!
